Gift Processor (PT)

Company & Position DescriptionRoswell Park Alliance Foundation, which manages all donations made to Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, is looking for a part-time (25 to 35 hours per week) gift processor to join our Data Team. This position will be responsible for all phases of gift processing in the Foundation’s donor databases, Raiser’s Edge and Luminate Online, and will work on special projects involving database cleanup, problem solving and analytical skills. The position is an integral part of our staff and will help ensure that our databases are to a standard that our team expects and needs to do their job, whether for emails, mailings, or stewardship, to reach our fundraising goals.  ResponsibilitiesTimely entry of donor and financial information into Raiser’s Edge and Luminate Online systems.Research and evaluate all documents for accuracy and completeness to ensure correct data is entered and maintain document master files for backup and verification.Assist with maintaining an accurate master database, including address changes, deduping, and record cleanup.Work on special projects for record clean up and organization. This job description is not designed to contain or be interpreted as a comprehensive inventory of all duties, responsibilities and qualifications required of employees assigned to the job. The chosen applicant will go through formal and informal training, as needed, to learn applications and data entry processes.  QualificationsOne to two years data entry experienceProficiency in the use of data entry applications Expertise in Microsoft Office products, including Word and ExcelOrganized and detail-oriented individualEffective communication skills Preferred QualificationsKnowledge of Blackbaud’s Raiser’s Edge and/or Luminate Online applications.Experience working in a nonprofit setting, and knowing fundraising fundamentals. Work Environment: This is an in-person position based in Buffalo, NY.Pay Rate: $18/hour
