Combo Pipe Welder/Fitter

*Overview* We are seeking a skilled Comno Pipe Welder / Fitter to join our team. This is a long term position. As a Pipe Welder, you will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal components to assemble pipelines in various settings. *Duties* - Interpret and analyze blueprints to understand project specifications - Measure and mark pipes for cutting and welding - Weld pipes using various techniques such as stick welding - Inspect welds to ensure they meet quality standards - Conduct repairs on existing pipelines as needed - Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently *Skills* - Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints for pipe layout and welding specifications - Knowledge of codes standards related to pipe welding - Mechanical knowledge for equipment setup and maintenance - Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and material estimates - Familiarity with construction site safety protocols - Competency in using calipers for precise measurements Job Type: Full-time Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Schedule: 8 hour shift Work Location: In person
