Job OverviewThe Assisted Living Reginal Director of Clinical Operations performs a full range of education, training, supervision, and support services related to clinical services in the Assisted Living environment.Oversees Regulatory And Clinical ComplianceMaintains current knowledge of all state and federal regulations related to health services in the Assisted Living environmentPerforms routine audits of clinical practice and complianceAssists in training, evaluation, and supervising assisted living nursing compliance activityOversees Infection Control and Quality Assurance process results, reporting, and correctionIdentifies opportunity for performance improvementApproves corrective action plans developed by nursing management to address non-compliance/undesired outcomesWorks collaboratively across all Ebenezer nursing departments to promote and uphold best nursing practices and apply the Nurse Practice Act principlesParticipates In The Development Of Policies & ProceduresPlays a major role in developing appropriate and up to date AL health services policies and proceduresOversees implementation of policies and assures that sites are consistently following proper procedureContributes To Managing The Nursing Department BudgetAssists with developing and implementing relevant and revenue generating service package optionsAssists with setting pricing for assisted living servicesAssists with presenting cost-effective staffing model optionsAssists in the development and evaluation of efficient and effective operational procedures for nursingProvides Ongoing Support To AL SitesConducts sites visits on a regular basisCoordinates regular Director of Health Services meetings that include an educational componentProvides training, orientation, and ongoing mentoring for new clinical staffProvides technical and interim management as requestedParticipates in and supports sites through Minnesota Department of Health and other regulatory survey processOther ResponsibilitiesCompletes special projects as assignedLeads clinical Assisted Living work groups as assignedOversees Electronic Medical Record utilization at the sitesProvides supervision and support for float nursesCollaborates across departments to support service excellence and full apartment occupancyRequired QualificationsVocational School or Associate of Science3 years experienceRegistered Nurse or Registered with the MN Board of NursingBasic Life Support (American Heart Assoc, Red Cross or MTN) for Health Care Provider American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross; accepted certifications as follows AHA: BLS for Healthcare Providers (CPR & AED) Program or BLS Provider - BLS Instructor.
