Job DescriptionMaterial HandlerLocation: Long Beach, CAShift: 1st ShiftPay: $22.00 to $28.00/hr DOEA leading aerospace manufacturing company is seeking a Material Handler to support production, inventory, and warehouse operations in a fast paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for material movement, inventory accuracy, kit preparation, and supporting production teams to ensure manufacturing schedules are met.This is a hands on role supporting aerospace and space vehicle manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate has experience working in manufacturing, aerospace, logistics, or warehouse environments with strong attention to detail and urgency.ResponsibilitiesMove materials between warehouse, stockroom, and production areasPick, stage, and deliver materials to manufacturing teamsPerform inventory transactions within ERP or inventory management systemsMaintain accurate inventory counts and support cycle countsReceive incoming shipments and verify materials against packing slips and purchase ordersPrepare kits for production and ensure shortages are escalated quicklySupport shipping and receiving activities as neededOperate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safelyMaintain clean and organized inventory locationsFollow company safety procedures and material handling standardsSupport production teams to avoid downtime and material shortagesHandle sensitive aerospace hardware with care and accuracyRequirements2+ years of experience in material handling, warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing supportExperience in aerospace, manufacturing, or high mix production environments preferredERP or inventory system experience requiredForklift experience preferredAbility to read work orders, pick lists, and inventory documentationStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsComfortable working in a fast paced production environmentAbility to lift up to 50 lbsStrong communication and teamwork skillsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredPreferred QualificationsExperience supporting aerospace or space manufacturing operationsFamiliarity with FIFO inventory processes and cycle countingExperience with shipping, receiving, and inventory controlKnowledge of ESD and handling sensitive components preferredExperience with kitting and production support operationsPandoLogic.
