Johnson Brothers has been providing, exceptional service to our customers since 1953, representing the world's most famous brands in the beverage industry.The Warehouse Night Floor Lead Associate is primarily responsible for assisting the manager with training of new hires, bulk order pulls, influencing, and motivating peers, and other basic warehouse functions as assigned. Schedule is Sunday through Thursday 5:30 pm to completion or as business needs dictate. This is a labor-intensive role where team members will be responsible for moving stock repeatedly throughout the shift both manually and with equipment.Job DescriptionEssential Job Functions:Train new employees on proper picking/palletizing techniques for bulk ordersPick nightly bulk ordersVerifies all applicable bulk orders for accuracyCollects all inspection reports weekly and reports exceptions to managementInspects all equipment used nightly to ensure proper hookup and debris removalMaintains both large cardboard compactors/making balesTrains new employees on baler operationMaintains RSC circulation to modules as neededEnsures pallet processingEnsure that proper housekeeping is used throughout warehouse when picking ordersLoads bale trailerLoads branch pallet ordersTrains jackpot operatorsBackup truck jockeyAssist as needed with picking/quality controlLiaison between employee and managersInfluence and motivate peers to achieve goalsAssist manager with directing workflowAssist manager with monitoring employee(s) productivity and accuracy to ensure efficiencyResponsible for meeting productivity goals for the positionBe proficient in all work areas for the shiftUtilize warehouse management system to locate product in the warehouse while ensuring inventory accuracy and controlSafely operate various warehouse equipment including forklifts, stock pickers, and pallet jacks, to load, unload, and move productEnsure a safe work environmentOther duties as assignedPosition QualificationsAccuracy - Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughlyCommunication - Ability to communicate effectively while building and maintaining positive relationshipsReasoning - Ability to exercise good judgment in dealing with sensitive and confidential informationLeadership - Ability to motivate and assist in leading a teamProblem Solving - Ability to find a solution or deal proactively with work-related problemsWorking Under Pressure - Ability to complete assigned tasks under stressful situationsOrganization - Ability to organize and plan work to meet established deadlinesIndependence - Ability to work independently with minimal supervisionProfessionalism - Ability to be courteous and respectfulSkills & Abilities Education: High School degree or equivalentExperienceWarehouse experienceBasic math skills are requiredExcellent oral and written communication skillsExperience with warehouse equipment including forklifts, stock pickers and pallet jacksMust have excellent leadership and communication skills Computer Skills: Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office applications; Warehouse management systemsOther RequirementsAbility to work in a fast-paced warehouse environmentAbility to safely lift 40-60 lbs.
