Job DescriptionWe are looking for a highly skilled Senior Java Spring Boot Developer with strong hands-on experience in developing scalable enterprise applications using modern Java technologies. The ideal candidate should possess excellent coding abilities, strong problem-solving skills, and experience working in Banking or Financial Services environments. Commercial Banking experience is a strong plus.Required Skills & Experience10+ years of hands-on experience in Java application development.Strong expertise in Core Java, Java 8+ Features, and Object-Oriented Programming concepts.Extensive experience with Spring Boot, Microservices Architecture, and RESTful API Development.Strong understanding of Java Stream API, including map(), flatMap(), filter(), and other functional programming concepts.Hands-on experience with Functional Interfaces, Lambda Expressions, and modern Java development practices.Strong knowledge of Java Collections Framework, especially HashMap and related data structures.Experience processing and validating JSON payloads, including implementing complex filter criteria JSON blocks and business-driven filtering requirements.Strong experience with Database Operations, including:SQL and relational databasesSpring Data JPA/HibernateCRUD operationsQuery optimization and transaction managementFamiliarity with Java Record Classes and immutable object design patterns.Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Services and cloud-native application development.Experience designing, developing, and supporting high-performance, scalable, and secure applications.Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance-tuning skills.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Preferred SkillsExperience in Commercial Banking / Open Commercial Banking platformsExposure to event-driven architecture and cloud-native applicationsExperience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShiftKnowledge of security and compliance standards in banking applicationsResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain scalable Microservices using Java and Spring BootBuild and integrate secure RESTful APIs for banking applicationsCollaborate with architects, business teams, and client stakeholdersDeploy and manage applications in AWS environmentsParticipate in code reviews, performance tuning, and production supportEnsure high-quality coding standards and best development practicesWork closely with onsite teams in an agile development environment
