Job Title: Quality Technician
Location: On-Site - Howell, MI
Eligibility: Must be eligible to work for a U.S. DoD Contractor
Terms: Full-Time
Job Summary: We are seeking a Quality Technician to support manufacturing operations by performing inspections, maintaining quality documentation, and assisting with compliance to internal quality systems and upholding safety regulations. This role works closely with Production, the Quality Lead and Quality Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform incoming, in-process and final inspections
Interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Document inspection results accurately and maintain traceability records
Identify and document nonconforming materials; assist with corrective actions
Ensure compliance with ISO/AS quality standards and defense requirements
Collaborate with production to resolve quality concerns in a timely manner
Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED required
2+ years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
Strong organizational, communication and follow-up skills
Strong attention to detail and documentation discipline
Ability and willingness to work 100% on-site
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Preferred Skills & Experience:
Experience supporting defense or military contracts.
Familiarity working with ISO 9001 or AS9100
Additional education (Associates or Bachelor’s Degree) is a plus but not required
Experience supporting corrective action processes
