Front desk/Optometry tech

Looking for someone with exceptional customer services skills. Experience in ophthalmic retail is a plus. Looking for someone that takes initiative and a problem solver. Organizational skills and a people person is a must. This job would be front desk duties and working up the patient for the doctor to see. The candidate would have to gain an understanding of the EMR system and how to decipher vision plans and medical insurance benefits. This position includes greeting the patient, checking them in, answering phones, scheduling appointments, pulling insurance, doing pre-testing, gathering patient data to be seen and reviewed by the doctor, and assisting the doctor with office tasks. Must be very organized and pays attention to detail.
