Overview We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support the design, development, and production of mechanical systems across the full product lifecycle. This role focuses on mechanical design, analysis, and production support, including validation, qualification, and technical documentation within a collaborative engineering environment. What You Will Do Support mechanical design and development across the full lifecycle (concept ? production)Perform requirements analysis, concept development, and design trade studiesDevelop design documentation including Technical Data Packages (TDPs)Apply GD&T principles to mechanical designsConduct engineering analysis (DFMA, PFMA, margin analysis)Support validation, testing, and qualification processesPrepare technical reports and present findings in design reviewsSupport procurement, supplier interaction, and production processesCollaborate across engineering teams to solve technical challengesQualifications You Must HaveBachelor's degree in STEM field (Mechanical Engineering or related)5+ years of mechanical design and documentation experience (or 3+ with advanced degree)Experience solving technical problems of moderate complexityAbility to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance (U.S. citizenship required) Qualifications We Prefer Advanced engineering degreeExperience leading small teams (4–6 engineers)Experience with supplier management and external partnersExperience with mechanical subsystems (packaging, thermal, structural, etc.)Strong understanding of GD&T (ANSI Y14.5)Experience with CREO (Pro/E) or similar 3D CAD toolsExperience with PTC Windchill or similar PLM toolsStrong communication and teamwork skillsActive DoD security clearanceAbility to travel to government and supplier sites Additional DetailsWork Schedule: Standard daytime hoursEnvironment: Onsite, engineering and production supportTravel: Occasional travel to government and supplier facilities
