Staff Accountant

Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Staff Accountant to support our growing manufacturing operations. This position plays a key role in maintaining financial accuracy, supporting compliance, and ensuring a smooth month-end close process. Key Responsibilities Perform monthly and quarterly reconciliations, journal entries, and adjustments Ensure timely tax payments and compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws Support month-end and year-end close procedures Prepare monthly financial statement packages and compliance reports Maintain and update the general ledger Oversee accounts payable (A/P), accounts receivable (A/R), and payroll processing Conduct bank reconciliations and monitor daily cash flow Develop and maintain internal controls to protect company assets Respond to requests for financial data and documentation Prepare year-end workpapers for audit and tax filing Assist with ad-hoc projects, reporting, and financial analysis as needed Qualifications Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 1+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment Strong understanding of GAAP and financial compliance standards Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines Why Join Global CNC?
