Maintenance Assistant

Goldwater Care Peoria Heights - The primary purpose of your position is to maintain the grounds, facility, equipment in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with current applicable federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations, our established policies and procedures, and as may be directed by your supervisor, to assure that a successful maintenance program is maintained at all times.Benefits Offered (full-time):Medical InsuranceDental InsuranceVision Insurance401k following 6 months of serviceEssential Job Duties:Ensure all Maintenance schedules are followed.Check Maintenance boards daily for needed repairs.Assist with drills, and tests.Complete log sheets for equipment.Participate in assigned training.Perform routine Maintenance on grounds, and parking areas.Paint rooms as needed.Assist with moving and lifting of misc. items.Be on call at times.Be able to complete tasks without supervision.Requirements:Must have a general knowledge of maintenanceMust have a clean background and driving recordMust have a Driver's LicenseMust be at least 18 years oldMust be able to use general tools
