Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) - Float Pool

Dedicated Float (Sub) Pool RBT Location(s): North County SD School Sites (Vista, Oceanside, Escondido, San Marcos, and Del Mar) Pay: $30–$35/hr (based on experience) Schedule: Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM–3:30 PM (up to 29 hrs/week, school calendar) Start Date: ASAP About the Role We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to support students in educational settings for our Float (Sub) Pool. Float Pool RBTs will be needed Monday through Friday, but placement locations will change day-to-day based on call out needs. Available shift assignments are sent out each morning at 7:30am for the daily schedule. This role involves working directly with students with behavioral, physical, and/or developmental special needs to implement behavior support strategies and promote positive outcomes. Most assignments are 1:1, with occasional classroom support. You will work at one school site per shift, with many assignments lasting the entire school year, and student placements are matched to your demonstrated experience level. Do you have an RBT Cert? Responsibilities Implement behavior intervention plans developed by a BCBA Provide direct support to students in 1:1 or classroom settings Collect and document behavioral data Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff Attend team meetings and training sessions Apply CPI techniques to manage and de-escalate behaviors (training provided if required) Ensure student safety and well-being Training & Support Onboarding takes 5–7 days, including paid CPI training if needed. Ongoing coaching and professional development are provided.
