Real Estate Paralegal (Transactional) - HybridLocation: Milwaukee, WI (Hybrid)Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Real Estate Paralegal to support a busy transactional real estate practice in our Milwaukee office. This hybrid role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with at least 3 years of real estate paralegal experience, particularly in commercial and/or residential transactions under Wisconsin law. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing real estate transactions from contract through closing.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist attorneys with all aspects of commercial and residential real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financingsDraft, revise, and coordinate transactional documents such as: Purchase and sale agreementsLeases and amendmentsClosing statements and settlement documentsDeeds, easements, and affidavitsManage transaction timelines and closing checklists to ensure deadlines are metCoordinate closings with clients, lenders, title companies, surveyors, and opposing counselReview title commitments, surveys, and exception documents; assist with title and survey issue resolutionPrepare and file closing documents with appropriate Wisconsin state and county officesConduct due diligence, including organizing and reviewing agreements, reports, and zoning or land use materialsMaintain accurate electronic and physical transaction filesCommunicate professionally with clients and internal teams throughout the transaction processQualifications3+ years of experience as a real estate paralegal, with a strong focus on transactional real estate workExperience working with Wisconsin real estate transactions and recording requirements preferredParalegal certificate, associate degree, or equivalent experience required; bachelor's degree a plusStrong understanding of real estate closing processes and documentationExceptional organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to manage multiple transactions simultaneously in a fast-paced environmen
