Top developers at places like Microsoft, Google, Facebook/Meta and Anthropic themselves have said over 90% of modern day coding is done by LLM's, and more accurately & faster than the very best coders in the world. In 3 years software development will be driven by people directing LLM's vs writing code.Our ideal candidate will help us build some of our infrastructure and deliver internally on our platform and to the clubs we work with.Who this suitsThe scope and budget point to someone early career — recent graduate, intern, or a school-age person already building with AI tools. Open to more experienced applicants who understand the rate reflects that.The work itself is the kind of thing most pro clubs will be hiring for in a year or two and aren't yet. You'll leave with an incredible portfolio of work to show off plus some intimite working relationships with Sporting Directors, Analysts, & Coaches working in professional football. As we grow this could turn into a full-time salaried position.You'll have API access to Wyscout, Impect and Skill Corner, plus their user-facing platforms. 3 extremaly popular and common football data-analytics platforms used by almost every club in the world.Active ProjectsTwo main areas of work: Data infrastructure for two professional football clubs. A flexible analytics hub where dashboards and tools get built as use cases come up — pre-game prep, post-game benchmarking, player scouting, KPI tracking, squad wage and expense tracking. New requests will land regularly. Some of this exists on the Shortlistr platform already - and a lot of infrastructure can be transferred over. Shortlistr. The platform is live and runs on Next.js, Vercel and Supabase. Work here covers extending and developing the platform and building the automated-agentic side: agents running automated social and ad campaigns, and automation of day to day admin with humans in the loop where needed.RequirementsActive experience building with LLMs and AI coding tools — Claude Code, the Anthropic ecosystem or similar. You should already be using these.Examples of things you've built. GitHub, deployed projects, demos.Strongly preferredFootball data analytics experience, or demonstrable interest.
