Security Alarm Installer
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Installer/sales person to join our team. The Installer will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing various security systems, access control systems, surveillance system, defender surveillance trailers and equipment.
Pay Scale: $17.00- $21.00 per hour based on previous experience. Benefits offered: medical, dental for team member with Benefits to start accruing after a 120 day probation period.

Duties
-Sales and Installation
- Install configure and troubleshoot security systems, surveillance systems, access control systems and Defender Security Trailers.
- Utilize a voltmeter to test and troubleshoot systems
- Telecommunicate with clients to ensure proper system functionality
- Provide field service support for security system and low voltage installations
- Perform locksmithing tasks as needed
- Collaborate with service technicians to address system issues
- All other duties as assigned
Skills
Level 1 Field technician assists with basic installation with on the job training. Level 1's install and troubleshoot intrusion security systems, surveillance camera systems, access control systems and maintenance and servicing our Defender Security Systems to include all other duties assigned. CES Systems install's both wireless and wired systems. Job requires basic documentation skills, basic computer skills and basic knowledge of hand and small power tools. Customer service is our main priority and is a requirement of the position. Technician is required to lift 50lbs at times. We install, repair and maintenance low voltage systems and provide outstanding customer service.
Additional training/certification may be required to move to a Level 2 technician.
Monday – Friday: 8am-5pm + Overtime as needed.
* Some travel may be required, at times.

* Must have a valid Drivers License.
* Must be willing to travel alone, with a crew and with limited supervision.
* Must be able to work on ladders and in tight spaces.
* Be able to lift minimum of 50lbs.

* Proficiency with hand tools. Must have a basic knowledge of hand tools and building construction.
* Experience using a voltmeter for testing purposes.
* Knowledge of telecommunication protocols in security systems. Will train the right person.
* Ability to work collaboratively with service technicians and management.
* Ability to follow instructions and be on time.
