Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechatronics Technician II to join our dynamic maintenance and engineering team. This role involves performing advanced troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems within a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience with industrial equipment, automation systems, and technical diagnostics to ensure optimal operational efficiency. Responsibilities Conduct detailed diagnostics and repairs on electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems using schematics, blueprints, and engineering troubleshooting techniques. Perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), high-voltage systems, and industrial automation components. Utilize precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools to identify faults accurately. Troubleshoot electrical systems including low voltage and high voltage circuits, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Maintain and update equipment records within Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track maintenance activities and asset history. Support field service operations by diagnosing issues on-site and providing effective solutions promptly. Assist in welding tasks using welding standards when necessary for equipment repair or fabrication. Collaborate with engineering teams to interpret schematics and electrical blueprints for complex system repairs. Conduct analysis of equipment performance data to identify root causes of failures and recommend improvements. Ensure adherence to safety protocols during all maintenance activities, including working with high-voltage systems and heavy machinery. Requirements Proven experience in manufacturing facilities with a strong background in industrial mechanic work and electrical diagnostics. Proficiency with CMMS software for maintenance planning and recordkeeping. Technical sales experience or customer service skills are advantageous for cross-functional communication. Knowledge of HVAC/R systems, scissor lifts, hydraulics, pneumatics, and precision measuring instruments. Hands-on expertise with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical troubleshooting, schematics reading, and electrical blueprint interpretation. Ability to perform welding according to standards; experience with is preferred. Strong understanding of industrial electrician practices including low voltage and high voltage systems. Familiarity with industrial maintenance procedures involving electrical systems, equipment troubleshooting, analysis skills, and engineering troubleshooting techniques. Experience working with electrical systems such as schematics reading, electrical blueprint interpretation, ammeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters like the or similar tools. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with the ability to analyze complex mechanical-electrical issues efficiently. Effective communication skills in English for technical documentation and team collaboration.
