Job Title: Business Systems Analyst Location: Tallahassee, FLJob Type: Contract (12+ months)Job Summary: We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst to define, develop, and document user and stakeholder needs to support the achievement of business requirements. The ideal candidate will assist in the definition of business objectives and deliverables, contribute to system enhancements, and collaborate with IT teams to ensure high-performing, well-documented software applications.Key Responsibilities:Define, develop, and document business and stakeholder requirements for software development.Assist in the documentation of business objectives, deliverables, and system specifications.Support and enhance existing business applications, identifying and implementing system improvements.Conduct performance tests on new and existing applications to ensure quality, debug errors, and optimize performance.Collaborate with network and database administrators, systems analysts, and business owners to troubleshoot and resolve application issues.Required Skills:Strong understanding of computer programming and systems design principles.Experience with business process engineering and software development life cycle (SDLC).Proficiency with Database Developer Tools (e.g., SQL Management Studio, TOAD, MS Access).Expertise in Relational Database Design and Development (SQL Server, Oracle, or similar platforms).Proficiency in report development using SSRS, Crystal Reports, MS Access, or Excel.Ability to gather and analyze system functional requirements in collaboration with business users.
