Job Description
Position Summary:The Mental Health Therapist plays a pivotal role in providing compassionate and comprehensive mental health services to individuals. They are responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic interventions to support clients in navigating challenges related to their mental health and well-being.Responsibilities:Conduct ongoing assessments to understand clients' mental health concerns, history, and goals for therapy.Collaborate with other members of the treatment team to develop individualized treatment plans for clients.Provide evidence-based therapy interventions using various modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), mindfulness-based approaches, and others.Facilitate individual/Family therapy sessions, maintaining a safe and supportive therapeutic environment.Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists, case managers, and other recovery team providers, to coordinate comprehensive care for clients. Required to attend Recovery Team Meetings every 6 months (Travel reimbursed at hourly rate)Monitor clients' progress throughout therapy, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure effectiveness.Provide clients crisis intervention resources during times of acute distress or emergency situations.Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with ethical and legal standards.Stay informed about current developments in the field of mental health therapy through ongoing education and training.Participate in required team meetings, supervision sessions, and professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.Submit documentation within three days of services.Qualifications:Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution.Licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Mental Health Counselor, Clinical Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist, or Psychologist.Experience providing therapy to diverse populations, including individuals from various cultural backgrounds, age groups, and socioeconomic statuses.Strong understanding of ethical guidelines and legal regulations governing mental health practice.Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to establish rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with colleagues.Proficiency in conducting assessments, diagnosing mental health disorders, and developing treatment plans.Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.Dedication to ongoing professional development and a commitment to maintaining high standards of clinical practice.Preferred Qualifications:Specialized training or certification in specific therapy modalities or areas of practice (e.g., Trauma-informed care, Substance abuse treatment, LGBTQ+ affirmative therapy, EMDR, DBT, Brain Spotting, Christian Counseling).Experience using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and record-keeping.Fluency in multiple languages to better serve diverse client populations is a plus.Salary and Benefits:Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications. $55-$77 per billable hour.Opportunities for professional development and advancement within the organization.Travel reimbursed at hourly rateTeam Building retreatsContinuing education funds yearlyLicense renewal reimbursementsThe Faith Factory, LLC is an equal opportunity employer dedicated to fostering an inclusive, respectful, and supportive workplace.
