Job DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARYMask and/or tape circuit boards in areas that are to be free of conformal coating or potting. Apply coating via HVLP, spray can or dip coat with strict adherence to applicable thickness requirements. Inspect assemblies to ensure proper coating coverage. Maintain the coating and dispensing machines to ensure proper operating condition. Maintain coating materials log.As a team member in the production area the Assembler is an electro-mechanical assembly position. The position requires non-soldering operations in accordance with production manufacturing procedures and policies.Functions Apply sprayed or dipped coating to circuit card assemblies Read and Understand Assembly Drawings Read and Understand Work Instructions Component Preparation PTH Component Installation (CS400) Mechanical Assembly (Hardware and torquing) Box build assembly (no soldering) Component staking/bonding Masking/De-masking for Conformal coating Basic Computer Skills Ionograph Staking/Bonding/PottingQualificationsAssembler 1 requires a High School diploma and a minimum of two (2) years’ experience in an electrical/electronic assembly environment.
