Data Scientist

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!The Role Build statistical and machine learning models, including natural language processing (NLP), to solve complex business problems. Construct and execute intricate SQL queries across multiple databases and utilize API interfaces for data extraction. Perform web scraping and apply techniques for processing unstructured data. Leverage automation and machine learning for data management, scenario prediction, and generating data-driven recommendations. Learn and implement technologies such as AWS and Git. Develop solutions in a fast-paced environment critical to National Security.What You'll Need Bachelor's degree and 8-12 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree and 6-10 years of relevant experience. Must possess a TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph. Proficiency in Python and strong SQL skills for data extraction from relational databases and APIs. Experience with supervised and unsupervised learning, including NLP libraries and tools (e.g., spaCy, Hugging Face, NLTK, TensorFlow). Solid understanding of frequentist statistics, probability, predictive modeling, computer science concepts, data architecture, and statistical methods.
