Managing Projects That Power IndustryConstruction ManagerThe Construction Manager is responsible for managing large-scale electrical field service projects from kickoff through commissioning and closeout. This role oversees project planning, execution, safety, budgeting, scheduling, and customer communication to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with contractual requirements.The Construction Manager serves as the primary liaison between customers, operations, engineering, subcontractors, and internal teams while driving project performance and customer satisfaction.Essential ResponsibilitiesManage projects through all phases including planning, execution, testing, commissioning, and closeoutCoordinate manpower, subcontractors, materials, equipment, and project schedulesLead project meetings and communicate updates, risks, delays, and action plans to stakeholdersTrack project budgets, costs, change orders, forecasts, and profitabilityEnsure compliance with safety, quality, engineering, and contractual requirementsMonitor project progress, KPIs, schedules, and documentationSupport field teams with technical coordination and operational planningBuild and maintain strong client relationshipsSupport continuous improvement and cross-functional collaborationQualifications3–5+ years of project management experience in electrical, industrial, utility, construction, or EPC environmentsExperience managing field-based electrical or power system projectsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Project Management, or related field preferredEquivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degreeStrong knowledge of scheduling, budgeting, cost control, and project executionProficiency with Microsoft Office and project management softwareValid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sitesPreferred QualificationsPMP certification and/or PE licenseExperience with substations, transmission systems, high-voltage equipment, testing and maintenance services, or industrial power projectsExperience in oil & gas, utility, industrial, or construction environmentsSkills & CompetenciesStrong leadership, communication, and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple complex projects in fast-paced environmentsStrong technical aptitude and problem-solving abilityCustomer-focused mindset with strong attention to detailWork EnvironmentHybrid office and field-based roleRegular travel to project sites requiredIndustrial and construction work environments expected
