Director, Information Systems Engineering

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Engineering Systems. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth architectural knowledge of AWS, Azure, and OCI cloud platforms, JDEdwards EnterpriseOne & PeopleSoft applications and demonstrate expertise in LDAP, networking, security, firewalls, compliance, Compute, storage, databases, Automation, Data Warehouse systems, ERP applications and ancillary systems. This role requires a strategic thinker who can lead a team of engineers, assist in presales and sales activities, develop cloud product services, and manage complex cloud environments and relationships.Key Responsibilities:Architectural Leadership: Provide expert guidance on the architecture and design of cloud solutions across AWS, Azure, and OCI platforms. Technical Expertise: Demonstrate proficiency in LDAP, networking, security, firewalls, compliance, compute, storage, databases, automation, Monitoring and Alerting and JDEdwards EnterpriseOne, PeopleSoft and related applications. Cloud Migrations: Lead and oversee systems and applications, cloud environments, ensuring minimal disruption and optimal performance. Internal Stakeholder Management: Manage and maintain strong relationships with internal clients, providing ongoing support and ensuring cloud environments are secure, compliant, and efficient. Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of highly skilled engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development of the JLL’s cloud and application strategy, identifying future trends and opportunities for growth. Issue Resolution: Assist the team in resolving complex technical issues, providing hands-on support and expertise as needed. Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or 15 year experience in I.T. Extensive experience in cloud architecture and engineering, with a focus on AWS, Azure, and OCI platforms. Strong knowledge of LDAP, networking, security, firewalls, compliance, compute, storage, databases, Automation, Data Warehouse systems, ERP applications and ancillary systems. Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team of engineers. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex technical issues. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and internal teams. Strategic thinker with a vision for the future of cloud technology.
