Job DetailsDescription*Yellow SORA Required*Pay Rate: $18.00Job Summary In this role Physical Security Officers (PSO’s) can expect to be working in demanding and fast paced environments. PSO’s may find themselves working in a wide range of areas to include medical centers, government facilities, hospitality venues and public events. The PSOs mission is to protect all people, information and property assigned, while delivering on high end customer service. PSOs represent the front line of our security services.Job Duties / Essential FunctionsDelivering high end customer serviceResponding to emergenciesDeterring and preventing crimePerforming ingress/ egress control proceduresInvestigating incidentsCompleting daily logs and incident reportsConducting regular walking or vehicle patrolsBuilding and Maintaining a professional rapport with clients, guests and co-workersDe-escalating conflictsDetaining suspectsMonitoring CCTV camerasPerforming other related duties as assignedSkills / QualificationsYellow SORA (current)21 years of ageCurrent and valid DLHigh school diploma or GEDExcellent written and oral communication skillsProficient time management skillsReliable transportationExcellent de-escalation skillsMust be able to pass a comprehensive background investigation, urinalysis screening and OPS training requirementsAppearance:Officers shall maintain their hair in a neat, clean, and combed professional appearanceBeards and mustaches must be clean and neatly trimmed. Officer’s fingernails shall not extend more that ¼ inch from the tip of the finger or interfere in any ways in the performance of duty or with the safe drawing of issued equipment.
