Art DirectorYellow Flag ProductionsSouthfield, MichiganYellow Flag Productions is seeking a highly creative and versatile Art Director to join our growing creative and marketing team. This role is ideal for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced creative environment and has experience across multiple areas of visual storytelling including graphic design, brand development, video production, animation, campaign development, and digital content creation.Yellow Flag Productions is a multiple award-winning creative agency and production company, including Emmy Award-winning work, producing integrated campaigns, broadcast content, brand development, digital media, experiential activations, and commercial creative across a variety of industries.Yellow Flag Productions currently serves as the Agency of Record for Lawrence Technological University, leading integrated marketing, campaign development, creative strategy, video production, branding, admissions marketing, digital campaigns, experiential initiatives, and executive-level creative projects across the university.This is not a narrow design role. We are looking for someone who can think conceptually, execute visually, and contribute across integrated campaigns for higher education, sports, entertainment, corporate, and experiential clients.The ideal candidate is a highly skilled creative who understands both strategy and execution while also being capable of developing strong visual systems and jumping into production work when needed.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute high-level creative concepts across multiple platformsSupport brand development and campaign creative for a variety of clients and industriesDesign digital, print, presentation, social, and environmental graphicsAssist in the development of video concepts, motion graphics, animations, and visual storytellingCollaborate on commercial, social, and experiential marketing campaignsMaintain visual consistency and brand standards across all deliverablesWork closely with leadership on creative direction, concept development, and campaign executionPrepare production-ready files and assets for digital, print, video, and event applicationsContribute to brainstorming sessions and help shape innovative creative solutionsManage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detailSupport creative production for websites, social media, events, presentations, and integrated marketing campaignsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Advertising, Creative Media, Fine Arts, Marketing, Film Production, or related field or equivalent professional experience5+ years of professional creative agency, in-house, or production experienceStrong portfolio demonstrating high-level creative thinking and executionAdvanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, and After EffectsExperience with motion graphics, animation, and video editingStrong understanding of branding systems, typography, layout, and visual storytellingExperience developing creative across print, digital, social, video, and experiential platformsAbility to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-moving environmentStrong communication and organizational skillsExperience working with higher education, academic institutions, or enrollment marketing campaigns is a plusExperience with photography, cinematography, or 3D/motion tools is a plusWeb and UI/UX experience is a plusWhat We're Looking For:We are looking for someone who is adaptable, creative, and passionate about building visually compelling work across multiple mediums.
