About Our Client Addison Group is hiring on behalf of our client, a creative firm located in Chicago's West Loop. Job Description Our client is seeking a Procurement Associate / Office Manager to support both project procurement activities and daily office operations. This position will play an important role in coordinating purchasing for design projects while also ensuring the office runs smoothly for staff and visiting clients. This individual will collaborate closely with the design and operations teams to assist with vendor coordination, purchasing processes, project logistics, and administrative support. The role is well suited for someone who is highly organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple responsibilities within a fast-paced creative environment. Key Responsibilities Assist with purchasing furniture, fixtures, and accessories for active design projects Request pricing from vendors and review quotes for accuracy and completeness Support the preparation and tracking of project budgets related to furnishings and materials Maintain organized records of orders, suppliers, and purchasing documentation Collaborate with the design team to update product specifications and sourcing details Conduct vendor research and maintain relationships with suppliers Assist with coordinating deliveries and installation logistics for project launches Travel occasionally to project sites to assist with installation and staging Welcome visitors and serve as the first point of contact for guests and incoming calls Manage the office calendar and assist with scheduling meetings or appointments Coordinate conference room setup, catering, and materials for internal and client meetings Handle incoming mail, packages, and deliveriesMonitor office supply inventory and place orders as needed Maintain a clean, organized office environment and support staff with general requests Assist with new employee onboarding logistics and workspace preparation Qualifications Previous professional office or administrative experience required Experience supporting procurement, purchasing, or vendor coordination is a plus Interest in design, furniture sourcing, or creative industries preferred Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills Comfortable working with spreadsheets and business software tools Familiarity with tools such as QuickBooks, Adobe InDesign, or similar platforms is a plus Ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities The team environment is creative, collaborative, and highly client-focused Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-moving environment with multiple projects underway Creative and collaborative office culture Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
