Position Summary:The Front Desk Intern supports the Front Office team in delivering exceptional guest service. This role provides hands-on experience in hotel operations, guest relations, and administrative responsibilities while developing hospitality and customer service skills in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:Greet and welcome guests in a friendly, professional mannerAssist with guest check-in and check-out processesRespond to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns promptlyAnswer and direct phone calls using proper etiquetteMaintain accurate guest records and reservations in the property management systemSupport daily front desk operations and administrative tasksCoordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure guest satisfactionAssist with handling guest complaints and escalating when necessaryMaintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk areaFollow all hotel policies, procedures, and brand standardsLearning Objectives:Gain knowledge of hotel property management systems (PMS)Develop customer service and communication skillsUnderstand hotel operations and interdepartmental coordinationLearn problem-solving and conflict resolution techniquesQualifications:Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Hospitality, Business, or related programStrong communication and interpersonal skillsPositive attitude with a willingness to learnBasic computer skills (Microsoft Office preferred)Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environmentPhysical Requirements:Ability to stand for extended periodsAbility to lift up to 25 lbs occasionallySchedule Requirements:Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidaysEqual Opportunity EmployerThis employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
