Job DescriptionWe're partnering with a private equity-backed, high-growth field-based services company seeking a hands-on Controller/Head of Finance & Accounting to help build and scale the finance and accounting function. This is a highly visible opportunity to lead the accounting function, partner with operations, and help build the financial infrastructure of a rapidly growing business. Reports to CEO.Must have POC/WIP accounting experience.Can be based in Pacific Time Zone, and comfortable with upfront travel to the Bay Area first 60-90 days. Role can ultimately be remote w/ infrequent travel to SF.Key QualificationsController or Assistant Controller experience with full ownership of the accounting functionDirect POC/WIP accounting experience in a project-based or field services environmentStrong GAAP, month-end close, and financial reporting expertiseHands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves mentality with the ability to build processesExperience partnering with operations and project teamsPrivate equity, high-growth, or acquisitive company experience preferred
