We're changing the world and need other like-minded individuals to accelerate and expand our efforts.About The RoleThe Account Manager- Payer Operations position partners closely with the Chief Revenue Officer to ensure the payer side of NOCD's business operates seamlessly and aligns with broader organizational goals. This role is highly cross-functional and operational, with a strong emphasis on payer relationships, outcomes reporting, contract management, and internal coordination across multiple teams.This is an ideal opportunity for a seasoned payer-focused Account Manager who thrives in complex healthcare environments and enjoys balancing relationship management with detailed operational execution.Who You AreA self-starter who can embody our core value of Extreme OwnershipAmbitious and ready to keep up with a goal-driven, start-up environmentA strong communicator who can build trust with key stakeholdersHighly organized and responsiveWhat You'll DoPayer Relationship & Account ManagementMaintain and strengthen relationships with payer partnersServe as a key liaison between payers and internal NOCD teamsEnsure smooth communication and issue resolution related to billing, enrollment, eligibility, and reportingContract & Documentation ManagementEnsure all payer contracts are fully executed and properly stored in shared drivesMaintain accurate and up-to-date contract documentationOutcomes Reporting & MeetingsSchedule and coordinate Quarterly, Bi-Annual, and Annual Outcomes meetings with payersCoordinate calendars between payer teams and NOCD leadership, including the Chief Medical Officer (CMO)Schedule internal prep meetings with the CMO one week prior to payer calls to surface potential issuesCompile monthly outcomes decks for payer partners (currently Horizon, NovaOne/HCSC, and Regence)Coordinate Joint Operating Committee (JOC) outcomes decks for IBC in partnership with the Data Analytics teamCross-Functional CollaborationPartner with the Billing team to ensure accurate accounts receivable and resolve payment discrepanciesWork closely with the Enrollment team to ensure timely provider enrollment and resolve payer-related issuesCollaborate with the Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) team to address eligibility challengesCoordinate new payer implementations, including:Scheduling implementation callsActivating internal Slack channelsEnsuring required decks and materials are completedOperational SupportMaintain and update key spreadsheets and documents, including:Payer Rate SheetsState Density / Coverage SheetsConduct payer and market research as neededProvide coverage and support for the Chief Revenue Officer during travel or absencesRequirements10+ years of Account Management experience supporting health plan payer accountsProven experience working cross-functionally within complex healthcare organizationsStrong proficiency with:Shared DrivesExcelPowerPointPDF toolsDocuSignAdobe AcrobatHighly organized with strong attention to detailExcellent communication and relationship-building skillsStrong cultural alignment with NOCD's mission and valuesWhat We OfferCompetitive base salary plus commission planComprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision coverage, and 401(k) matchPTO based on an accrual system11 observed holidays a yearCasual and engaging startup environment with an outstanding mission-driven team atmosphereNOCD provides 12 weeks of fully paid parental leave for the primary caregiver, and 6 weeks of fully paid leave for the secondary caregiver, for qualifying full-time employees.
