The ideal candidate is technically adept, thrives in a dynamic environment and is comfortable balancing both tactical and strategic responsibilities. Strong communication, data-driven decision making, and process ownership are essential to success.JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop and execute procurement strategies to meet schedule, cost, and quality objectivesSupport business goals and drive department KPI’s.Manage the full lifecycle of procure-to-pay activities, including RFQ’s, supplier selection, negotiations, PO placement, delivery management, and invoice resolution.Lead and manage a direct team, including performance management and talent developmentCollaborate cross-functionally with other departments including but not limited to Engineering, Quality, Planning, and Production to support sourcing decisions and resolve supply-related issuesManage the supplier base through performance metrics, qualification activities, risk assessments, status meetings, and corrective actions.Support the development, implementation, and compliance of purchasing policies and proceduresEnsure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, including AS9100, ITAR, DFARS, and FAAJOB REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSBachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field7+ years of procurement experience in aerospace, defense, or other regulated manufacturing environments, with at least 3 years of management or leadership experienceHave an excellent understanding of metal commodities, machining, milling, fabrication, casting, forging, and outside treatment processes pertaining to the manufacturing of aerospace parts and components.Ability to interpret engineering drawings, manuals, specifications, and BOMsStrong technical analytical, organizational, and communication skillsProven negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship skillsExperience sourcing specialized components, machined parts, or advanced materials Strong ERP experience: Global Shop and or Epicor preferredAbility to work on-siteBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offTuition reimbursementVision insuranceApplication Question(s):Do you have the Ability to interpret engineering drawings, manuals, specifications, and BOMs?Education:Bachelor's (Required)Experience:procurement in aerospace or defense manufacturing: 7 years (Required)Ability to Commute:Santa Fe Springs, CA 90670 (Required)Work Location: In person
