Service Valet/Driver

Pick Up And Delivery Attendant/Porter Capital Ford of Wilmington is hiring a pick up and delivery attendant/porter for our service department. The pick up and delivery driver must be able to do the following on a day-to-day basis: Pick up and deliver vehicles to various locations all around New Hanover and surrounding counties in a safe and timely manner Transport and park vehicles in designated service areas Maintain a focus on obeying traffic laws Follow driving directions Display excellent customer service skills Develop and maintain working relationships with coworkers in several areas of the dealership Operate vehicles and equipment in a safe manner Assist in all other areas of the department, as needed Maintain high ethical standards in all actions Maintain a high level of grooming, hygiene, and uniform appearance Report for work at assigned time Greet customers and check in vehicles *** Opportunities for advancement available *** Qualifications: Valid driver's license and fairly clean driving record (no major violations) Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle *Preferred, but not required Ability to pay attention to detail Excellent customer service skills Ability to follow instructions Positive attitude Background check and drug screen Job Type: Full-time Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred) License/Certification: Driver's License (Required) Work Location: In person
