Think of us as the travel buddy who handles the logistics while you focus on what you do best helping people heal.Roles & ResponsibilitiesPerform and document thorough NICU respiratory evaluations and patient assessmentsProvide diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory treatments and assist physicians as neededDeliver high-quality infant transport care to and from referral health systemsDocument all care, including order entry, medication charting, EMR updates, and incident reportsDisassemble, clean, assemble, and perform preventative maintenance on respiratory equipment and tag items needing repairIdentify significant changes in patient condition and communicate promptly with the care teamProvide compassionate patient and family education and support tailored to each family's needsParticipate in department processes such as running/verifying reports and processing patient chargesQualificationsActive North Dakota Respiratory Therapist license required prior to start dateRegistered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) strongly preferred; new graduates must obtain NBRC registry within 12 months of startCurrent BLS, ACLS, PALS, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications prior to startMinimum 2 years of experience in NICU respiratory care in the specified specialtyRecent travel experience required; preferred candidates have completed 3 travel assignmentsExperience working in a Level 2 Trauma Center is preferredSubmission packet should include resume, skills checklist, and proof of licensureKnowledge & SkillsExpertise in NICU respiratory care, infant transport, and neonatal critical care principlesSkilled in patient assessment, diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory treatments, and physician collaborationProficient with EMR documentation, order entry, and medication chartingExperience with respiratory equipment cleaning, preventative maintenance, and repair taggingStrong communication skills for family education and multidisciplinary teamworkAbility to identify clinical changes quickly and escalate appropriatelyBenefitsGenerous housing stipend and travel reimbursement to make your contract smooth and stress-freeMedical, Dental & Vision coverage to keep you and your family healthyLicensure assistance and reimbursement so you can get credentialed without the headachePaid time off to recharge between assignments401K retirement savings plan to help you plan for the futureLife insurance for peace of mindReferral bonus program — share the love and get rewardedA supportive team that values you and your clinical expertiseTravel Perks: Explore Grand Forks, NDGrand Forks offers a pleasant small-city lifestyle with easy access to the scenic Red River and miles of Greenway trails for walking, biking, and cross-country skiing.
