You won't just be managing inventory - you will be leading a team of staff and volunteers to create a welcoming, profitable environment that aligns with our mission. You will report directly to our Director of Thrift and act as a key representative of our ministryWhat you'll doLead & Develop: Recruit, train, and mentor your team. You'll conduct performance evaluations, handle scheduling, and foster a collaborative, respectful workplace culture.Drive Results: Analyze sales data, optimize store layouts for maximum efficiency, and implement proactive strategies to hit financial targets.Champion Service: Set the gold standard for customer experience, building a loyal customer base through genuine engagement and excellent service.Operational Excellence: Oversee daily activities, maintain store cleanliness, manage bank deposits, and ensure all safety protocols are followed.Embody Our Mission: Represent Many Hands with integrity, ensuring our core values are visible in every interaction - whether with customers, vendors or volunteers.RequirementsWhat We're Looking For:Experience: A high school diploma (or equivalent) and at least 4 years of relevant work experience in fast-paced retail management. This must include at least 18 months of full-time, paid employment, with at least 12 months specifically in a supervisory role.Leadership: Strong ability to motivate diverse teams, manage conflict, and lead with empathy and respect.Communication: Excellent English proficiency (oral and written) and the ability to train others effectively.Retail Savvy: A solid understanding of retail best practices, inventory flow, and merchandising.Integrity: A genuine appreciation for diversity and a commitment to treating every individual with respect, regardless of status or background.Logistics: A valid driver's license with a good driving record and insurability.Physical Requirements:This is an active role! You should be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb for up to 7 hours per 8-hour shift.Ability to lift up to 20 lbs consistently and up to 50 lbs occasionally.Flexibility to work a full-time schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.Why Many Hands?
