The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Core Java, Spring Boot, microservices, Python development, REST APIs, and SQL databases.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, and maintain scalable applications using Java and Python.Build and maintain microservices and RESTful APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and Python frameworks.Develop Python scripts, backend services, and automation solutions for application workflows and data processing.Implement secure, reliable, and high-performance application components.Work with relational databases, write complex SQL queries, and optimize database performance.Integrate applications with internal and external systems using REST APIs and messaging technologies.Participate in code reviews, unit testing, debugging, and production support.Collaborate with architects, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and business stakeholders.Follow software engineering best practices for security, scalability, performance, and maintainability.Required Technical SkillsExperience: 7+ years of hands-on software development experience.Core Java: Strong knowledge of Java 8/11/17+, OOP, Collections, Multithreading, and Concurrency.Spring Framework: Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Microservices Architecture.Python: Strong programming and scripting skills; experience developing backend services and automation solutions.API Development: Experience building and integrating RESTful APIs and web services.Database: Strong SQL skills and experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.Messaging: Experience with Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar messaging technologies.Testing: Experience with JUnit, Mockito, PyTest, or unittest.Build and Version Control: Git, Maven, or Gradle.Cloud and DevOps: Exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP, along with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.Preferred QualificationsExperience with FastAPI, Flask, or Django.Knowledge of Kubernetes and cloud-native application development.Experience with distributed systems and event-driven architecture.Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.Financial services or banking domain experience is a plus.
