Senior IOS Engineer

The Planet Group has partnered with a West Coast firm to locate a Senior IOS Engineer Senior iOS Engineer for a 100% remote contract role.We are seeking a product-focused, fast-moving engineer to to help build and scale high-impact mobile experiences. And work with an established team.Candidates must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.Responsibilities:Build and enhance user-facing iOS applications used at scaleWork closely with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver new features end-to-endContribute across the full development lifecycle: design, development, testing, experimentation, and launchReview code and technical designs, providing thoughtful feedback to improve quality and performanceHelp shape engineering standards and best practices while supporting and mentoring other team membersCollaborate in a fast-paced, highly iterative environment focused on delivering meaningful user experiencesRequired Skills/Experience: 6+ years of experience building native iOS applications using SwiftExperience working on medium-to-large scale applications in production environmentsStrong understanding of software engineering best practices (testing, CI/CD, code reviews, documentation)Ability to work cross-functionally with product, design, and engineering stakeholdersStrong communication skills and comfort working in a fully remote environmentExperience contributing to or leading initiatives across teamsPreferred Skills/Experience: Experience working with APIs (REST, GraphQL) and HTTP fundamentalsBackground in additional programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, or RustInterested candidates can apply by clicking on the link.
