PositionFunky Fridas - Executive ChefPay RangeStarting at $70,000+Bonus IncentiveDescriptionWe are looking for a highly experienced and creative Executive Chef to join our fast-paced and growing restaurant. You must have proven success in the kitchen as a confident, effective, and efficient leader who is able to motivate and work collaboratively with kitchen staff. You will be responsible for meeting food and labor cost targets for the kitchen. You will create and document new menu items, manage and direct all kitchen staff, maintain quality control, and manage inventory and purchasing.Executive Chef Duties and ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and direct all food preparation, from prep through serviceMonitor the quality of all food and beveragesTrack, record, and maintain inventory stock including foods, beverages, and kitchen suppliesDelegate daily tasks to sous chef and other kitchen staff; manage their progress throughout the dayOversee entire kitchen staff activity and ensure efficient workOrder and arrange pickup or delivery of foods for the weekOversee repairs of kitchen appliancesDirect and design and plating/presentation techniques for all dishesHire and train new kitchen staffWork efficiently to resolve any problems that arise in the kitchenResearch and implement new culinary trendsMaintain a clean kitchen and abide by all state food safety and sanitation lawsAbout the OrganizationOHSO Brewery wants well qualified, energetic, and relentlessly happy people.
