Claims Consultant

Exciting new role for a growing insurance agency. The Claims Consultant will focus on workers' compensation and serve as a key resource for commercial clients navigating the claims process. Reporting to the Claims Team Manager, the role manages assigned claims, facilitates communication between clients and carriers/TPAs, reviews claim status and strategy, prepares supporting documentation, and helps drive timely and effective outcomes.Responsibilities include: Analyze claim status, identify issues affecting outcomes, and escalate complex matters while maintaining strong working relationships with carriers and stakeholders.Serve as a primary client contact by providing updates, answering questions, and bridging communication between clients and insurance carriers/TPAs.Prepare claim documentation, maintain detailed records, and present claim summaries and trends in client meetings, reviews, and renewal discussions.Qualifications:Minimum 3 years' experience managing workers' compensation claims.Strong knowledge of NYS Workers Compensation laws and insurance regulations.Excellent communication skills with the ability to present sensitive and confidential information to clients, carriers and internal team members.** Local candidates onlyCR Fletcher is an Equal Employment Opportunity staffing partner and employer.
