Operations Manager - Accounting Consultant (Hedge Fund & Single-Family Office)Hybrid Remote - West Los Angeles (Wilshire & Bundy)Our client is a Los Angeles-based SEC-registered investment advisor (RIA) specializing in alternative investment portfolios. They serve wealth managers, family offices, foundations, corporations, institutions, and high-net-worth individuals. This role reports directly to the CFO.Responsibilities:Manage accounts payablePrepare hedge fund investment and redemption formsCompile AML documentation for hedge fundsInterface with clients and manage investor relationsGather K-1s and investment statements from fund portalsCoordinate with tax preparersHandle accounting for the investment advisorAssist with year-end audits and liaise with auditorsCommunicate with the fund administrator (Artex Fund Services)Perform weekly cash forecasting for the family officeSupport various financial projects as neededRequirements:Bachelor's degree in accounting (strongly preferred)Minimum 2 years of experience in a financial services firmProficiency in Excel and database software10-key by touch skills preferredExperience with QuickBooks (strongly desired)Familiarity with Backstop Solutions investment management software is a plus but not requiredOur client provides a competitive compensation package, with an hourly rate equating to approximately $110K annually.
