Senior Cloud Systems Engineer - Onsite | Denver, CO - Space Operations & Mission SoftwareA pioneering aerospace company developing next-generation lunar mobility and robotic systems is seeking a Senior Cloud Systems Engineer to support mission-critical ground software infrastructure powering future space exploration programs.This role will focus on managing highly available cloud and Kubernetes environments for a cutting-edge command and control platform supporting lunar vehicle operations and mission control activities.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn and manage production releases and deployment pipelines using GitOps methodologiesMaintain highly available Kubernetes infrastructure and cloud environmentsDrive operational excellence through monitoring, observability, metrics, and uptime managementDevelop and maintain Helm charts for complex infrastructure deploymentsImplement progressive deployment strategies including canary and blue-green deploymentsManage Kubernetes networking, DNS, load balancing, storage, and secrets managementSupport AWS infrastructure and Kubernetes optimization initiativesCollaborate with software and infrastructure teams to improve reliability and operational standardsKey Requirements5+ years’ experience within DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Infrastructure EngineeringAWS experience including EKS, IAM, VPC networking, and Load BalancersStrong Kubernetes administration experience within production environmentsExperience writing and managing Helm charts for large-scale applicationsHands-on experience with GitOps workflows and tools such as Flux CDStrong understanding of cloud infrastructure, networking, and observability practicesExperience supporting high-availability systems with 99.99%+ uptime requirementsStrong troubleshooting, decision-making, and operational support capabilitiesSRE methodologies including SLIs, SLOs, and error budgetsPlease apply now or get in touch with Chloe @ EVONA - c.jakeways@evona.comI look forward to hearing from you! ☺
