Staff Accountant (Hybrid – Manufacturing) Salary: $65,000–$80,000 Why This Opportunity Stands Out: • Join a stable and growing manufacturing organization located in Fitchburg, WI with a strong reputation in its industry • Hybrid work schedule offering flexibility while maintaining strong team collaboration in-office • Hands-on accounting role with exposure across month-end close, reporting, and operational finance • Opportunity to work closely with experienced leadership and gain broad accounting experience beyond a narrow GL focus • Company culture emphasizes teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement in processes and systems • Strong visibility role supporting both accounting and operational decision-making • Ideal environment for someone looking to grow their accounting career in a manufacturing setting • Exposure to ERP systems and manufacturing cost structure will help build long-term technical depth Key Responsibilities for the Staff Accountant: • Assist with month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with accuracy and timeliness • Support preparation of financial statements and internal reporting packages • Assist with cost accounting activities, inventory tracking, and manufacturing-related financial analysis • Help prepare cash flow reporting and daily/weekly cash activity tracking • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes as needed • Assist with audit requests, documentation, and internal control procedures • Identify opportunities for process improvement within accounting workflows • Maintain accurate records within ERP system and support data integrity initiatives Qualifications for the Staff Accountant: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred • 1–3 years of accounting experience (manufacturing experience a plus, not required) • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and general ledger functions • Proficiency in Excel and comfort working with ERP systems • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities
