Sr. DevOps EngineerLocation: Oakland, CA Duration: FulltimeJob DescriptionMust Have Technical/Functional SkillsTechnical Expertise:8+ years of experience in AWS cloud architecture and services.Strong proficiency in Terraform (modules, workspaces, remote state, etc.).Experience with CI/CD tools and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS/EKS).Programming & Scripting:Proficiency in Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages.DevOps & Automation:Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, configuration management, and automation frameworksPreferred Qualifications:AWS Certified Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer certification.Experience with Ansible, Packer, or Terraform Cloud/Enterprise.Roles & ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities:Infrastructure Automation:Design and implement AWS infrastructure using Terraform and other IaC tools.Maintain reusable Terraform modules and ensure best practices for versioning and state management.Cloud Architecture & Management:Architect and optimize AWS environments for scalability, security, and cost efficiency.Manage VPCs, EC2, ECS/EKS, RDS, Lambda, S3, IAM, and other AWS services.CI/CD Pipeline Development:Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline.Automate deployments for applications and infrastructure.Monitoring & Logging:Implement monitoring solutions using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar tools.Ensure robust logging and alerting for system health and performance.Security & Compliance:Enforce security best practices, including IAM policies, encryption, and compliance standards.Conduct regular audits and vulnerability assessments.Collaboration & Mentorship:Work closely with development teams to integrate DevOps practices.Mentor junior engineers and contribute to process improvements.
