Help others live more independently and reach their goals Schedule: Saturday and Sunday, 12:00 am to 8:00 amA Behavioral Technician (Internal title: Community Living Instructor) provides support to adults with behavioral health needs in a residential or community setting.In this role, you'll ensure the safety, well-being, and daily success of the individuals we serve. You'll provide hands-on support with daily living skills, social engagement, behavior management, and more all while helping create a safe, structured, and encouraging environment. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in behavioral health, psychology, or social services or for anyone who enjoys helping others live healthier, more independent lives.Key Responsibilities Support residents in building life skills, routines, and social behaviorsAssist with rehabilitation and behavior support programsMonitor and document changes in behavior, mood, or physical conditionProvide basic care, such as taking vital signs and assisting with personal needsAdminister medication once certified as a Level 1 Medication Aide (training provided)Transport clients to appointments and community activities (driving is required)Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive living environmentParticipate in emergency response and safety proceduresComplete documentation accurately and on timeRequirements, Skills, Knowledge and Expertise High School/GED requiredWORK EXPERIENCEAt least one (1) year of work experience or self-employment requiredA valid unrestricted driver's license at the time of hire with the ability to obtain and maintain a class E MO driver's license by the end of 60-day introductory period requiredBasic computer skills requiredYou'll Be a Great Fit for This Role If You:Enjoy working directly with people and making a positive impactAre calm, patient, and adaptable in a fast-paced or changing environmentHave strong communication skills and work well on a teamAre comfortable assisting with basic care and household responsibilitiesHave prior experience as a CNA or CMAAbout Compass Health Network Compass Health Network is a nonprofit organization dedicated to delivering accessible, high-quality care throughout Missouri.
