Estate Planning & Probate Legal Assistant📍 Dallas, Texas | Full-Time | On-SiteA respected law firm is seeking an experienced Estate Planning & Probate Legal Assistant to support a busy trusts and estates practice. This role is ideal for a highly organized professional with strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced legal environment. Candidates with experience handling estate planning and probate matters, including exposure to 706/709 filings and NetDocs, are strongly encouraged to apply.ResponsibilitiesPrepare, revise, and proofread legal documents and correspondence Assist with estate planning and probate matters Open, organize, manage, and maintain client files and filing systems Handle incoming and outgoing mail Answer incoming calls, respond to general inquiries, and direct calls appropriately Schedule appointments, maintain calendars, and coordinate meetings Set up conference calls and assist with client communications Arrange travel and business itineraries as needed Accurately enter attorney time and assist with administrative support tasks Communicate professionally and effectively with attorneys, staff, and clients QualificationsMinimum of 5 years of legal assistant experience, preferably in estate planning and probate Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint Typing speed of at least 80 WPM Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities Excellent grammar, spelling, proofreading, and written communication skills Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment Proven dependability, professionalism, discretion, and confidential handling of sensitive matters Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced setting Experience with 706/709 filings and NetDocs is a significant plus The firm offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, a collaborative work environment, and the opportunity to join a well-established and sophisticated practice.
