Plumbers are responsible for safely installing, repairing, and maintaining pipes of utility construction projects. Our suite of benefits reflects our commitment to our employees.Paid on-the-job technical and professional growth opportunitiesEstablished career path for future advancement401k and Roth 401(k) retirement savings plansHealth, prescription, dental, vision plansLife & Disability Insurance plansFinancial wellness programEmployee assistance programEmployee discount programsESSENTIAL DUTIES:Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixturesRespond to, diagnose, and resolve plumbing emergenciesPerform routine inspections of plumbing and drainage systemsFollow building plans and blueprintsPrepare bids, budgets, and cost estimatesKeep accurate records of time spent working, description of work performed, and materials usedCollaborate with other construction professionalsLight construction, carpentry, painting, plastering, flooring, ceiling, and electrical work as requiredOther related duties and projects assignedKEY QUALIFICATIONS:3-5 years field experience or Military equivalentExperience working in construction is a plusValid driver's licenseSkilled in the use of hand and power tools used in the plumbing tradeFamiliar with PVC, CPVC, PEX, cast iron, and copperKnowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and safety practicesAble to read and follow blueprints and rough drawingsProficient in basic mathematics and conversion of measurementsAble to work effectively in a team environmentEffective oral communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailIndependent worker with a strong work ethicThe physical activity for this role includes:Travel as needed, might work extended hoursStanding, walking, and sitting for long periodsWalking on uneven groundManual dexterity for use of small hand and power toolsRepetitive motions like squatting, kneeling, reaching and liftingFrequently lifting up to 50 lbs., occasionally lifting up to 80lbs.Working outside in a range of weather conditions, including hot and cold weather* Pass pre-employment drug screen and background checkThis role is accepting applications until filledThis position is subject to the Federal Department of Transportation (DOT) drug & alcohol testing regulations as outlined in 49 CFR Part 382 and/or 49 CFR Part 199.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
