BrightStar Care of Sugar Land is looking for caregivers to join our team. At BrightStar Care, we provide uplifting in-home care for seniors as well as clients of all ages who require a helping hand, a supportive companion, and day-to-day assistance in their homes. We are in search of someone to work with a female client in zip code 77095. Hours available Monday-Friday, 11 am-7 pm. We strive to provide a competitive benefits package and support systems for our employees.Caregiver job benefits include:Pay ranging from $15-$16 per hourWeekly pay/direct depositMileage reimbursement for errands, etc.Free in-house training with Director of NursingSupportive and rewarding work environmentEmployee referral bonus programResponsibilities include:Assist with personal care such as bathing, dressing, ambulation, and transfersAccompany clients to the grocery store, doctor appointments, and pharmacy visitsAssisting client with active and passive mobility work defined by the plan of care, and documenting observed changes to the Director of NursingRequirements include:High school diploma or GEDValid CPR certificate within 1 month of hireNegative TB skin test within the last 12 months (can be done during orientation week)Valid driver's license and auto insurance with reliable vehicleAdhere to HIPPA and maintain client confidentialityMust be eligible status on AHCA level 2 backgroundNegative drug screen and motor vehicle background screeningAbility to read, write, speak, and understand English and communicate effectivelyMust be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push, and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client.
