Chief Development Officer

Chief Development Officer Status: Full Time/Exempt Salary: $100,000 - $120,000; Commensurate with education, experience and certifications About HOPE Farm HOPE Farm’s ministry and mission serve young fatherless boys, ages 5-18 through an after‑school program where we introduce our participants to a life governed by belief in Christ and provide an opportunity to be mentored by adult Christian men. Job Summary The Chief Development Officer (CDO) is a senior leadership role responsible for advancing HOPE Farm’s fundraising and external engagement strategy. Reporting to the Executive Director and serving as a member of the Executive Leadership Team, the CDO partners closely with leadership and the Board of Directors to drive philanthropic growth and expand donor relationships. This role leads a comprehensive development program, including major gifts, donor engagement, and fundraising strategy, while providing oversight of marketing and communications to ensure alignment with fundraising priorities and consistent, mission‑driven messaging. Job Duties Develop and execute integrated fundraising and engagement strategies to support organizational growth. Manage and grow a portfolio of major donors, including cultivation, solicitation and stewardship. Build and maintain a strong pipeline of donor prospects and expand major gift support. Establish fundraising goals and monitor performance through data, reporting and pipeline management. Partner with the Executive Director and Board to strengthen donor engagement and fundraising participation. Lead and develop a high‑performing development team through coaching and leadership. Oversee marketing and communications efforts to ensure alignment with fundraising strategy and donor engagement. Represent HOPE Farm externally and serve as an ambassador in the community. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or CFRE preferred. Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in nonprofit fundraising or related leadership roles. Demonstrated success in major gifts fundraising and managing donor relationships. Experience leading or overseeing a development function and managing teams. Experience working closely with boards and executive leadership. Strong communication, relationship‑building and strategic thinking skills. Alignment with HOPE Farm’s faith‑based mission and comfort working in a Christ‑centered environment. Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed. This is a full‑time, exempt position based in Fort Worth, TX.
