Software Engineer

Job Description About the Role Our client is a fast-growing company (75+ team members and counting) that builds training content, digital publications, and software products for a specialized industrial sector. They're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help build modern, scalable applications, largely greenfield, across internal and client-facing products. What You'll DoDesign, build, and maintain back-end services and APIs on the Microsoft .NET stack (C#, ASP.NET Core), with a focus on reliability, security, and performanceDesign SQL Server database schemas and write efficient queries and data access codeContribute to front-end components as needed using React, Vite, or Next.jsParticipate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and technical design discussionsIntegrate applications with identity providers (Entra ID or Auth0) and enterprise systems such as LMS, EAM, and HCM platformsWrite unit, integration, and end-to-end tests; build proofs-of-concept to evaluate new toolsWork with Docker, Azure infrastructure-as-code (Bicep), and message brokers (Azure Service Bus or RabbitMQ)Contribute to CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOpsUse AI development tools responsibly to speed up scaffolding, refactoring, and testing Who We're Looking ForBachelor's or Master's degree in a related field7+ years of professional software engineering experience, primarily in C# and modern .NET5+ years of hands-on experience with Azure specificallyStrong back-end focus, with working knowledge of modern front-end frameworksComfortable using AI tools thoughtfully within the development lifecycleNot open to recent graduates - this is a senior-level role Nice to have:Unity Realtime engine experienceExperience displaying multimedia (3D models, photos, video) in applicationsAgentic AI dev tools (Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, or similar)NoSQL databases, data pipeline integrationAzure networking (VNets, App Gateways, API Management)CQRS pattern experience
