Job Title: Pharmacy Technician Address: Cary, NC Job Description Review contents of referral to ensure complete and accurate information has been received. Create a patient profile from a scanned or faxed image by entering correct patient and provider information. Conduct initial check of prescription to ensure clinical accuracy for processing. Communicate with providers regarding referral status, prescription clarification, and patient concerns. Update concise progress notes to ensure other roles can quickly assess the status of the referral. Enter new provider information accurately into the system. Perform other duties as assigned. Critical Information Training is on-site from 9am to 6pm, usually a couple of months. Shift: Monday to Friday, 11am to 8pm ET. Hybrid work model after training, with 2 days in the office and 3 days remote. Education/Licenses Needed High School Diploma required.
