Loan Workout Portfolio Manager

Loan Workout Portfolio Manager is responsible for overseeing portfolios that are distressed, delinquent, or high-risk commercial loans, developing strategies to maximize recovery and minimize losses. Key Responsibilities Report on the assigned portfolio, including asset quality, stress testing, industry and market analysis, asset allocation, reserves, and non-performing loan analysis. Develop and implement workout plans (re-amortization, interest rate adjustments, covenant waivers) to rehabilitate loans or facilitate orderly exits. Prepare Credit Reviews to assess asset quality, including performance against original underwriting expectations. Experience writing policies and procedures for collateral monitoring, workouts, and periodic loan reviews. Draft memos for any substantial changes in a borrower's financial stability or ownership structure. Work with legal counsel on bankruptcies, foreclosure actions, and debt restructurings. Education and Experience College degree preferred. 5+ years in commercial loan portfolio management or commercial credit analysis/underwriting as a minimum. 3+ years in commercial banking, credit analysis, or special assets/loan workout. Deep experience with financial analysis. Working knowledge of commercial lending, e.g. commercial real estate, construction and C&I products. Experience with Abrigo/Sageworks and Jack Henry products a plus. Physical Requirements & Working Conditions Ability to travel to branches, off-site training, and/or meetings if required Lobby/professional office environment with moderate sound.
