Experience in machining or machine operation, measuring equipment and set-up. Ability to write and speak complete sentences and understand verbal and written instructions in EnglishResponsibilities:The basic purpose or function of this position is:Operate and set up computerized numerical control machines: lasers CNC/EDM CNC machining centers, CNC grinders. Operate and set up various manual machines. Utilize measuring tools to inspect parts.• Responsible for complying with TPM (Total Preventative Maintenance) Program.• Responsible for complying with CTQ (Critical to Quality) Program.• Set up and operate assigned machine.• Solving minor set up problems.• Perform machining operations per specifications.• Perform safety procedures and general daily housekeeping.• Maintain production standards and quality.• Regular attendance and punctuality.• Adhere to and promote Corporate Code of Ethical Standards• Ensures compliance with Company IPM/QPM and ISO-9000 quality requirementsThe marginal duties and responsibilities (performed occasionally or at irregular intervals) for this position are:• Perform preventative maintenance on the equipment when required.• Performing other tasks in the facility, as needed.Specific sensory (speech, vision, smell, touch, and hearing) requirements:Speech, vision, smell, touch and hearing.Specific sensory (speech, vision, smell, touch, and hearing) requirements:Speech, vision, smell, touch and hearing.Specific sensory (speech, vision, smell, touch, and hearing) requirements:Speech, vision, smell, touch and hearing.* Note: for loads greater than 35 lbs., the use of material handling equipment (carts, forklifts, hand trucks, etc) is requiredDescribe and explain the lifting and carrying requirements (i.e., the distance material is carried, how high the material is lifted, etc.):Lift components (10-35 lbs) and carry at waist level for a short distance (10 ft).Personal protective equipment (PPE) required for this position is:Eye and hearing protection. Hand protection and smock when necessary.Comments/Special InstructionsPre-Identified (use HKA form) candidate for weekend coverage for CNC operation, Also, available for evening coverage for employee call outs.
