Network Engineer

ResponsibilitiesThis role is for a Senior Network Engineer specializing in Palo Alto firewalls to support a global, multi-site network infrastructure across datacenters, offices, and trading environments. The position involves configuring and maintaining connectivity, managing firewall and network appliances, and troubleshooting performance issues in a live trading setting. The engineer will collaborate closely with security teams, handle documentation and change management, and participate in on-call support rotations. Based in the Miami area, the role bridges both network and security responsibilities, supporting critical infrastructure projects.RequirementsHands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls (required and heavily emphasized)Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field5+ years of experience in network engineering or a related roleStrong understanding of network and security fundamentalsExperience with routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and RIPFamiliarity with IPSec and TLS-based VPNs (e.g., GlobalProtect, Prisma)Experience with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting techniquesStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to problem-solve under pressure with strong attention to detail
